It all started back in 2018. I was living in the middle of the desert with two useless degrees to my name, and I thought, “It’s either start drawing or get a job at Target.”

Despite the allure of that sweet, sweet Target employee discount, I instead decided to launch Caroline Clark Designs. I knew I wanted to bring the joy and nostalgia of being outside to everyone stuck inside.

There’s a part of my brain that sees unique elements in the world and is obsessed with figuring out how to turn these details into art. And for me, there is nowhere more inspiring than the great American West.

In 2024, I took another big leap and launched up Long Lost Studio in Colorado Springs as a chance to get to live out this dream surrounded by a team made up of good friends and family.

Long Lost Studio is kind of like being around a campfire with your people, but with comfy couches, shipping boxes, and a big ole printer as the centerpiece.

All of the art is still made by me, without the help of AI, ever.
